Angoulême International Comics Festival 2017

The selection of 93 titles was chosen by the German Comics Association in consultation with the Goethe-Institut Paris and the International Comic-Salon Erlangen. An emphasis this year was new releases from the previous year with a broad range including graphic novels, children’s comics, fantasy and manga.

Books by German comic artists, who were both in attendance and signing copies at the stand and whose books appeared in French translation, were in particularly high demand: Anna Haifisch, Aisha Franz, Mikael Ross, Reinhard Kleist, Sascha Hommer und Nils Oskamp.
