&#8222;Alphabet of Arrival&#8220;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the direction of <a href=\"http:\/\/lilianpithan.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lilian Pithan<\/a> (journalist) and <a href=\"http:\/\/saschahommer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sascha Hommer<\/a> (comics artists), a series of comics reportages were produced that addressed what it means to start over in a foreign country: A for \u201casylum\u201d, E for \u201cequal opportunities\u201d, or R for \u201cresidence\u201d \u2013 under the title \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/alphabetdesankommens.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alphabet of Arrival<\/a>\u201d, comics artists and journalists worked in teams of two on stories about home, surviving in exile, and the many varying reasons for immigrating and emigrating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ugb-container ugb-container ugb-eb83811 ugb-container--v2 ugb-container--design-basic
