Oky is one of the most successful Turkish comic artists. He has worked for G\u0131rg\u0131r, F\u0131rt, Lombak and Penguen and is co-founder and co-author of the satirical magazine Uykusuz. His best-known works include \u2018Zavall\u0131 Polat\u2019 (Engl: \u2018Poor Polat\u2019), \u2018Cihangir’de Bi Ev\u2019 (Engl: \u2018A House in Cihangir\u2019) and \u2018\u00c7arp\u0131\u015fma\u2019 (Engl: \u2018Collision\u2019). He has lived in Berlin with his wife, the manga and comic publisher \u00d6zlem Gencer, since 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
